Christmas Story is directed by Juha Wuolijoki and written by Marko Leino, who has also written the domestic hits "Matti - Hell is for Heroes" and "Me and Morrison."
The first big Finnish Christmas film opened in November 2007 on 60 prints across Finland and became an instant box office hit.
