Located in present day Vietnam, Three Seasons collected three main awards at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.
An American, played by Harvey Keitel, searches for a daughter he fathered during the war and encounters his past in Ho Chi Minh City, the former Saigon. Simultaneously, in the young rickshaw drivers, street flower vendors and prostitutes he sees the changing, contemporary Vietnam.
The film's four intertwined narratives of redemption and mercy appealed to audiences in a way that brought Three Seasons three main awards at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.
